Do you remember the 1968 media fear frenzy put in everybody’s minds that food production was going to run short, and then we would all have mass starvation in the next decade? Or, maybe you remember in 1977 that the media said we were going to run out of proven oil reserves in 15 years. Or, maybe you remember the 1988 climate change hysteria about an ice-free Arctic summer. Or, do you remember the 1993 prediction of Y2K, and how it was supposed to disable all software? Or, maybe you remember the discovery in 2007 that the Maya calendar said the last day of civilization was December 1, 21st, 2012? Or, maybe you remember other recent hoaxes along with those above? Does it seem to you like every decade has it’s “doomsday scare”; but now, because of sensationalism in the media, it is even more often? And now, it is the “AI Hoax”.
AI, SI, and the Next Revolution
The amount of unneeded and unwanted pressure that the media, and so-called journalist, put on the American citizens is unbearable; and now, it has been joined by social media with extremists trying to outdo one another. More clicks, more views, more irrational thinking, therefore no “common sense”. Every revolution will cause disruptions, and that is why it is called a revolution. AI now SI will be the most significant revolution known to man. AI and SI has got the potential to change literally everything; and, if you would like to start the game of trying to think of things for yourself and how it might benefit you: 1) analyze your body chemistry and blood chemistry alone with your DNA and tell you how to live a better and more energetic life every day, 2) how to live longer and what action you need to take to do that today; 3) head off surprises like heart attacks and surprise cancer outcomes; and, 4) how about your kids and your grandkids living longer with more healthier lives?
More Possibilities Ahead
Or, maybe a few other possibilities are: 1) the quality of food will be improved on an agricultural basis without hormones, additives, or pesticides; 2) slow down early aging and early balding in men; 3) make menopausal changes easier; or, 4) make your everyday job easier to learn to perform with less effort.
An Opportunity for Communities
My thought is that this is an opportunity for communities (especially smaller communities) where we would call these data centers a “plus” pilot program. This is not an incentive to get them to locate in the county, but for SI to pay significant property taxes, thus giving the county more funds. This could mandate that the county lower everybody’s property taxes maybe 10% for the first 3 years and 5% for the next 3 years. Then, the county gets the additional tax forever; because, these are now closed loop systems requiring the initial water fill up only, and it will not affect electricity rates, because most of the current proposals will generate their own electricity.
Opportunities Beyond Compare
These are opportunities beyond compare, and the communities that are actively fighting against them haven’t taken time to understand the massive benefits.
