Located along the Tennessee border in Northwest Georgia, Catoosa County is around 100 miles northwest of Atlanta and 17 miles south of Chattanooga, Tennessee. With a population of over 66,000, the County consists of two major cities, Ringgold – the county seat, and Fort Oglethorpe.

Catoosa County is located on I-75 and is only 15 miles to the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport and 110 miles to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
